One Day in Exhibit Hall A: An ABC Expo Plan for Indianapolis

A single-day plan for the 10 October expo: the doors, the ticket codes, the 200-booth floor, lunch downtown and the airport run.

One day, one hall, one Saturday

The ABC Health & Fitness Expo runs Saturday, 10 October 2026, in Exhibit Hall A at the Indiana Convention Center, 100 South Capitol Ave. Doors run 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and the venue forecasts 2,000 attendees.

The door window is ten hours. This plan fits one Saturday and needs no hotel night.

Before the doors open

Buy the ticket on the organiser's own site. The event's own ticketing data runs from $0 to $20.50.

Two codes are live. BOGO gives one free registration with one paid. BEATBRUCE takes $5 off the ticket and enters the holder in the three-point challenge.

The challenge runs five shots at five spots against Bruce Horan, a co-founder of ABC Health & Fitness Expos and a former Butler basketball player. The organiser names him as Butler's all-time leading shooter. A win pays $20 in cash. One challenge per paid ticket, and preregistration is required.

Drive and park downtown. The city carries more than 70,000 parking spaces. Denison Parking operates every ICC and Lucas Oil Stadium lot, and the venue's parking page takes a reservation and a pre-payment.

The floor: 200 booths inside 44,400 square feet

Exhibit Hall A holds 44,400 square feet of floor under a 35-foot ceiling and takes 211 booths of 10 feet by 10 feet. The show sells 200 vendor spaces, which is 94.8 percent of the published booth count.

The organiser lists the topics on the floor: yoga, apparel, biking, running, martial arts, mental health, sports, crossfit, cryotherapy, gyms, nutrition, golf, holistic medicine, massage, physical therapy, pilates, personal training and wellness.

Ten hours is 600 minutes. Three minutes a booth walks all 200 and uses the day. Pick the booths before arrival.

The midday break

The venue counts 200 downtown restaurants within walking distance of the Center.

Visit Indy names three classics: the shrimp cocktail at St. Elmo Steak House, the reuben at Shapiro's and the pork tenderloin served across the city. Visit Indy also lists food halls at The Garage, the Amp and City Market. The same guide reports that Conde Nast Traveler named Indianapolis the most underrated food city in America.

Food and drink inside the building run card-only. Sodexo Live! holds the food and beverage rights. A reverse ATM in the Speedway Corridor vending area exchanges cash for a debit card.

After the doors close

Doors close at 8 p.m. The skywalks lock down at about 11 p.m. on the venue's rule of thumb and reopen at about 6 a.m., so three hours of downtown stay walkable.

The Indianapolis Cultural Trail spans ten miles and connects neighbourhoods including Mass Ave, Fountain Square and Indiana Avenue.

The airport run

The venue publishes 15 minutes to Indianapolis International Airport. A routed drive from 100 South Capitol Ave measured about 21.3 kilometres and about 24 minutes at free flow on OSRM. Allow 30 minutes.

The airport's Ground Transportation Center sits on the first floor of the Terminal Garage, with bus service, car rental, taxi, rideshare and limousine connections. Curbside taxis wait outside baggage claim. The venue names the Maryland Street canopy as a recommended taxi point downtown.

The one-day case

Ten hours of doors, 200 booths, a walkable lunch and a 30-minute airport run fit one Saturday.

A hotel night stays optional. Downtown carries 7,100 hotel rooms, with 4,700 of them on the skywalk network.
