Three Free Days Inside a Nine-Day Run
The Indiana Flower + Patio Show runs nine consecutive days, Saturday 13 to Sunday 21 March 2027, at the Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center, 1202 E. 38th St., Indianapolis. Doors open at 10 a.m. every day. Three of the nine dates cost a defined group nothing.
Sunday 14 March is Teacher Day, with free admission for teachers and school staff on valid ID. Tuesday 16 March is Senior Day, free for anyone 65 and over, and the organiser sells no online ticket for it, so the box office is the only entry. Friday 19 March is Hero Day, free for active military, veterans, police and fire personnel, with free parking added for the day by the Indiana State Fairgrounds.
On the other six dates the price is $15 at the door and $13 online. Children 12 and under enter free on every date.
Sessions Close at Three Different Hours
Friday 19 March and both Saturdays close at 8 p.m. Monday 15 through Thursday 18 March close at 7 p.m. Sunday 14 and Sunday 21 March close at 5 p.m., seven hours after the 10 a.m. doors.
The organiser prices the weekday tail at $5. From Monday 15 to Thursday 18 March, admission after 5 p.m. at the box office is $5. Each of those four sessions runs to 7 p.m., so the discounted window is two hours a day.
The Garden Tours and Their Published Times
Guided Garden Tours are new this year and run Monday to Thursday only. The organiser publishes four tours: Monday 15 March at 11 a.m., Tuesday 16 March at 4 p.m., Wednesday 17 March at 4 p.m. and Thursday 18 March at 11 a.m. Each costs $25 and includes show admission.
Discount Channels and Their Dates
Buying online saves $2 against the door price, $13 against $15, and the show's FAQ states the same saving. Two retail channels carry a deeper cut.
Menards sells a single adult ticket at $7.50, a saving of $7.50, in participating stores from 22 January 2027 at eight named locations: Carmel, three Indianapolis addresses, Greenwood, Camby, Avon and Lebanon. The page states the offer is not available online.
Ace Hardware carries coupons at half off, $7.50, in participating stores from 21 February 2027 at 27 listed locations, running from Indianapolis and Carmel out to Rockville, Winamac, Crawfordsville, Terre Haute and West Lebanon. Sullivan Hardware & Garden at 6955 N. Keystone Ave carries a coupon line stamped 22 February 2026, a year behind the two channels printed beside it on the same page.
St. Patrick's Day and the Practical Terms
Wednesday 17 March is St. Patrick's Day and a weekday. The first 100 guests receive a voucher at the entrance for a free 4-inch potted shamrock plant, redeemed at the show office in the West Pavilion.
Parking is $10 per vehicle per day. Published lots include the Fairgrounds Infield, the South Lot and the Indiana School for the Deaf lot, and accessible bays sit in the infield corners as well as at those two lots. A Versiti Blood Center mobile unit sits onsite.
Will call is in the show office at the northeast corner of the West Pavilion. Wheelchairs come free at the standard 18-inch width on a first-come basis. Strollers are allowed. Pets stay at home.
The organiser publishes no multi-day ticket. Its FAQ answers the second-day question by directing the visitor to the show manager in the show office at the event.
What the Show Floor Carries
The organiser's About Us page counts 300-plus booths. The venue's event page counts more than 350 experts in remodeling, kitchens and baths, landscaping, decor and flooring. The organiser also lists Feature Gardens, Deck Wars, Pillow Cover Giveaways and a stage schedule among its show features.
