The round ladder
The 30th TIAA Big Ten Conference Men's Basketball Tournament runs Tuesday 9 to Sunday 14 March 2027 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, 125 S. Pennsylvania St., Indianapolis. The conference published the round ladder on 7 August 2026. Tuesday carries the first round, two games between seeds 15-18. Wednesday carries the second round, four games, as seeds 9-14 join. Thursday carries the third round, four games, as seeds 5-8 join. Friday carries the quarterfinals, four games, as the top four seeds open. Saturday carries two semifinals. Sunday closes the week with the championship game. All 18 conference teams qualify in a single-elimination bracket.
Game times are unpublished for all six days. The conference states that game times and television designations will be announced at a later date, and the release carries no ticket price or on-sale state.
Fitting one round into a longer March stay
Each round holds one day in the published schedule. The ladder names the day each seed band arrives, so a visitor holding a longer March stay in Indianapolis can set the arena day against the rest of the trip. Tuesday's two games are the only day that runs before seeds 9-14 arrive. Friday carries four quarterfinals, and the top four seeds play their first game that day.
The tournament window is six nights, 9 to 14 March, with a Monday 15 March departure if the championship game is the last stop. The conference's own schedule table ends with four games on Sunday 7 March. Monday 8 March is the single night between the regular-season close and the tournament open.
The walk between the arena and downtown

Doors, bags and the box office
The venue's A-Z guide publishes the entry terms. Backpacks, hard-sided bags and any bag larger than 6 by 10 by 2 inches are refused at the door.
