Dot Foods holds its national business meeting at the Indiana Convention Center from Wednesday, January 27, to Friday, January 29, 2027. The venue's event page carries those dates in its title block, in its meta description and in its structured event data. A body paragraph lower on the same page prints 2026. Three structured fields give 2027, and the venue's own date spans agree with them.
The venue forecasts 2,000 attendees. It publishes the date, the building and that forecast. A hall assignment, a session grid and a doors clock sit outside the published record, and the doors line reads "Check event website".
Delegates who want the daily schedule should watch the organiser's own channels. The "Visit Event Website" line on the venue page links to an empty target, so no route to an organiser site exists on that page. Dot Foods' corporate site carries the company's own business pages, and the program will surface there or through the meeting's registration system.
From the Airport to Downtown
Visit Indy puts Indianapolis International Airport 15 minutes from downtown, and the convention center's own footer repeats the 15 minutes. OpenStreetMap road routing measured 22.6 kilometers and 26 minutes at free flow between the terminal and the convention center on 24 September 2026. Each figure stands with its publisher, and they measure different things.
Three ground options leave from the terminal. Rideshare services, Uber, Lyft and taxis sit outside baggage claim. IndyGo Route 8 runs bus service into downtown. Rental cars collect from an on-site center with Hertz, Enterprise and other providers. The airport serves 57 nonstop destinations, and Visit Indy records it as Best Airport in North America from Airports Council International.
Sleeping Inside the Skywalk Network
The convention center footer counts 7,100 hotel rooms downtown and 4,700 of them linked by skywalk. The venue's Facility Guide gives 4,717 connected of 7,200 total. Visit Indy's meeting-hotels page gives 4,700 rooms connected to the center at 12 hotels, with 800 more in development. One destination, several published counts.
That network ties the convention center to Lucas Oil Stadium, a four-story mall and a run of restaurants. The Facility Guide states the complex links directly to five downtown luxury hotels and reaches seven further hotels through the Circle Centre shopping and entertainment complex. Visit Indy's connected-hotel page now counts 12 hotels and 5,200 rooms in the connected package.
Skywalk hours follow the event. The venue's own rule of thumb locks the system at about 11:00 p.m. and reopens it at about 6:00 a.m.
Eating Inside Walking Distance
The venue counts 200 downtown restaurants within walking distance. Visit Indy's group dining guide carries a downtown roster with street addresses and telephone numbers, and each venue on it takes larger parties.
Three sit inside the convention district. Weber Grill Restaurant, 10 N. Illinois St., 317-636-7600, cooks over charcoal grills and holds private dining space. Buca di Beppo, 35 N. Illinois St., 317-632-2822, serves Italian family-style with semi-private areas. Dick's Last Resort, 111 Maryland St., 317-608-2456, quotes group pricing.
Four more sit a short walk out. Shapiro's Delicatessen, 808 S. Meridian St., 317-631-4041, runs cafeteria-style with private rooms and serves breakfast through dinner. Slippery Noodle Inn, 372 S. Meridian St., 317-631-6974, is the oldest bar in Indiana and books blues nightly. Rathskeller Restaurant, 401 E. Michigan St., 317-636-0396, pairs German and contemporary American fare with a biergarten. MESH on Mass, 725 Massachusetts Ave., 317-955-9600, sits on the Mass Ave cultural district with a courtyard.
Two look out over the city. Skyline Club, One American Square, 317-263-5000, occupies the 36th floor of the One America Tower and works with groups for buffets and plated meals. The Eiteljorg Cafe, inside the Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art, 500 W. Washington St., 317-636-9378, serves lunch beside the downtown canal and takes groups with or without museum admission.
Two Nights on the Ground
The meeting runs three days and covers two nights. The venue's own calendar lists no event for Tuesday 26 January, with the Central Zone Invitational having closed on 24 January. That Tuesday is the open arrival day.
Wednesday and Thursday are the full working days, and the organiser's program sets their shape. The convention center is walkable from the connected hotels in all weather, and the skywalk network handles the January cold.
Friday 29 January is the departure day and the busiest of the three. The Circle of Stars Gymnastics Invitational opens at 5,000 and the RxHealing Sales Convention opens at 2,000 on the same day this meeting closes at 2,000. The venue's own forecasts total 9,000 across the building that day. A delegate with a Friday flight gains from checking out early and storing bags.
Supply, Rates and the January Window
