The Dates And The Building
The IHSAA girls swimming and diving state finals run 12-13 February 2027. The IHSAA lists the window as "Feb. 12-13 State Finals" under its 2026-27 dates for the sport. The IU Natatorium lists "12-13 IHSAA Girls Swimming & Diving Championships" in its February 2027 calendar. 12 February 2027 is a Friday and 13 February 2027 a Saturday.
The site is the IU Natatorium, 901 W. New York Street, Indianapolis. The IHSAA's state finals page gives that street address. The OpenStreetMap address index resolves 901 West New York Street to the Physical Education and Natatorium building in the 46202 ZIP.
The Published Clocks
The 2027 session times are not published. The IHSAA's 2026-27 dates carry no session times, and the venue's event list carries dates without clocks. The most recent published shape is the 2026 finals, held 13-14 February 2026 at the same address.
Friday 13 February 2026 opened its gates at 4:30 p.m. ET, and the swimming preliminaries started at 6 p.m. ET.
Saturday 14 February 2026 opened its gates at 6:45 a.m. ET. Diving preliminaries and semifinals started at 9 a.m. ET. The championship and consolation finals in all swimming events, plus the diving finals, started at 1 p.m. ET.
Friday's preliminaries set the Saturday field. The top 16 in each swimming event advance. The top eight swim for state championships, and places nine through 16 fill the consolation heats. All diving runs on Saturday. Of 32 divers, the top 20 advance from the preliminaries to the semifinals after five dives each. After three dives each in the semifinals, the top 16 contest a final round of three more dives each.
The published days give a Friday arrival and a Saturday departure one night. A Sunday departure takes two.
Tickets And Streaming
The 2026 finals sold digital tickets through Eventlink only. General admission cost $15 per session. Children five years and younger entered free in general admission seating only. A limited number of $35 reserved seating tickets covered both days, with a maximum of eight tickets per purchase. The IHSAA sold no reserved seating for a single session. That sale opened on Monday 9 February 2026 at 9 a.m. ET.
The 2027 on-sale date and the 2027 prices are unpublished.
IHSAAtv carried the 2026 finals on pay-per-view at $15 for Friday's preliminaries only and $20 for both days.
Parking On The IU Indianapolis Campus
The venue's parking page puts campus parking under IU Indianapolis Parking and Transportation Services and names the sports garage as the most convenient option.
The IU Indianapolis Parking visitors page files the IU Natatorium under the Sports Complex or Riverwalk garages. The Sports Complex Garage connects to the IU Natatorium, and drivers enter the Sports Garage Visitor Section. The Riverwalk Garage sits south of the building, and a skywalk reaches the Natatorium from the third-floor northwest corner. Hourly rates apply at both.
The garage ladder runs $5.00 for 0-2 hours, $7.00 for 2-4 hours, $9.00 for 4-6 hours, $11.00 for 6-8 hours, $14.00 for 8-12 hours and $18.00 for 12-24 hours. A lost garage ticket costs $18.00. The garages are fully automated, with pay stations in lobby areas and card payment at the exits.
Metered spaces take $1 per 30-minute increment from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday to Friday, with a one-hour minimum and a three-hour maximum. Off-peak hours run 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday to Friday and all weekend at $1 per one-hour increment, with a one-hour minimum and no maximum. Kiosks accept cash in $1 and $5 notes, coins, credit cards and IU Crimson Cards, and the ParkMobile app adds meter time from a phone.
IU Indy athletics published a parking note for the Horizon League championship it hosted at the Natatorium on 18-21 February 2026. That note puts the Sports Garage at 875 West New York Street, charges $7 per session with no in-and-out privileges, and calls the attached garage the immediate access point. It names a west entrance on University Blvd just south of West New York Street and an east entrance from the Sports Garage and the loading dock off Ohio Street.
The $35 Monthly Permit
The Natatorium's parking page carries the permit price. Natatorium and Carroll Stadium patrons may buy a monthly parking permit at the Pro Shop desk inside the Natatorium for $35. The Pro Shop desk sits on the lower level. The stairs to that level are on the east side of the building near the entrance to the parking garage.
The Building
The venue's about page calls the IU Natatorium the largest indoor aquatic facility in the United States, with a seating capacity of 4,700. It reports over 100,000 competitive swimmers and fans through the building each year. Construction finished in the summer of 1982. The home page counts 138 American records, 22 world records and 14 Olympic Trials. The history page dates the start of a $20 million renovation to 2015, and the tour page dates its completion to 2016.
The venue's event list carries a caution line. The entries are subject to change, on a page updated 2 September 2026.
