Ten Days, Two Buildings
The Indianapolis Home Show runs Friday 15 January through Sunday 24 January 2027. The grounds are the Indiana State Fairgrounds and Event Center, 1202 East 38th Street. Two buildings carry the show, Expo Hall and the West Pavilion. The organiser, Marketplace Events, counts more than 400 booths.
Doors open at 10 a.m. every day. The closing clock moves with the day. Friday 15, Saturday 16, Friday 22 and Saturday 23 January run to 8 p.m. Monday 18 through Thursday 21 January run to 7 p.m. Sunday 17 and Sunday 24 January run to 5 p.m.
The ten days add up to 90 show-floor hours. The two Friday and Saturday pairs carry 40 hours, the Monday-to-Thursday block carries 36, and the two Sundays carry 14. A Monday arrival buys nine hours. A Sunday arrival buys seven.
Four Days That Change The Ticket Price
Hero Day falls on opening day, Friday 15 January. Active military, veterans, police, fire, nurses, doctors and first responders enter free with a valid ID. The Fairgrounds supplies free parking that day.
Teacher Day falls on Sunday 17 January. Teachers and school staff enter free with a valid ID.
Senior Day falls on Tuesday 19 January. Admission for visitors 65 and older costs $5 at the box office. The show sells no online ticket at that price.
Monday 18 through Thursday 21 January carry a $5 ticket after 5 p.m. The box office sells it. Standard admission is $15 at the door and $13 online.
Children enter at different ages on the two published lists. The organiser lists children 12 and under as free. The Fairgrounds event page lists children 5 and under. Confirm the age band for your party before you buy.
Parking, Shuttle And The Show Office
Parking costs $10 per day per car. The Fairgrounds accepts cash and credit cards. Four entrances serve the grounds. Gate 1 sits on 38th Street, Gate 2 on 42nd Street, and Gates 5 and 6 on Fall Creek Parkway.
The Fairgrounds event page publishes shuttle service on Saturdays and Sundays. The show's own pages carry no shuttle line. Treat the shuttle as the venue's service on the venue's two days.
The show office answers on 317-927-1469 between 11 and 25 January 2027. The show sells no multi-day ticket. A second day is arranged with the show manager at the show office. Standard 18-inch wheelchairs are free on a first-come basis. Strollers are allowed. Pets are not.
Where To Stay Across The Full Run
A visitor who attends from the first Friday to the last Sunday needs nine nights. The span runs 15 January through 24 January. The show's accommodation block names two hotels, both in the Castleton cluster. Hampton Inn NE Castleton Indianapolis sits at 6817 East 82nd Street. Candlewood Suites Indianapolis NE sits at 8111 Bash Street. The two properties sit 6.94 and 6.81 miles straight-line from 1202 East 38th Street. Neither listing carries a rate or a booking deadline.
The Fairgrounds campground is the on-site route. The show's block prices it at $40 plus tax per day with hook-up and gives the camping line as 317-927-7500. Nine nights at that published rate come to $360 plus tax.
The venue's camping page carries the term that governs a January stay. Full hook-up sites run April through October. November through March is electric-only, and the dump station is closed in that window. A reservation is required before arrival. Check-in runs 1 p.m. to 7 p.m., and arrivals after 7 p.m. are still assisted. Check-out is noon. Monon campground arrivals enter at Gate 6 off Fall Creek Parkway. Cancellations carry three tiers: a flat $10 at eight or more days out, the first night plus tax at one to seven days, and a full forfeit on or after the arrival date.

Discount Channels And Their Windows
Menards sells a single adult ticket for $7.50 from 16 November 2026 at eight named stores. Ace Hardware issues a half-off coupon worth $7.50 at the box office, in select stores from 3 January 2027 across 27 named locations. A separate discount-ticket line opens 5 January 2027 at 26 central Indiana locations, at $7.50 off the box office price. The three windows open 60, 12 and 10 days before opening day.
What The Show Does Not Publish
Neither the organiser's pages nor the Fairgrounds event page carries an attendance forecast for the 2027 edition. The show prints no group ticket rate, no block rate and no cut-off date. Build the nights from the door grid and the published camping rate.
