A three-day conference and two free days
The MAPP Benchmarking and Best Practices Conference runs Tuesday 29 September to Thursday 1 October 2026 in Indianapolis. The published programme covers three days of keynotes, BC Labs, an Innovation Hall and ten learning tracks, from Engineering and Automation to Tooling.
Confirm the building before you book. The Indiana Convention Center lists the conference in the Wabash Ballroom 1-3 with a forecast attendance of 650. Plastics Business reports the conference hotel as the Indianapolis Downtown Marriott at 350 W. Maryland, where MAPP has secured a room block.
The free windows sit outside the published run. Monday 28 September and Friday 2 October carry no sessions, and each gives a group half a day in the city.

The Indiana Convention Center puts its own drive from the airport at 15 minutes.

The downtown core on foot
Monument Circle sits 0.6 km from the Marriott on a straight line and about 1 km by road. The Soldiers and Sailors Monument on the circle stands 284 feet 6 inches tall, was built between 1888 and 1901 to a design by Bruno Schmitz, and carries an observation deck reached by stairs or elevator.
Three venues sit inside a short walk of the Marriott: Gainbridge Fieldhouse at 125 S Pennsylvania St, the Indianapolis Artsgarden at 110 W Washington St and the Indiana Repertory Theatre at 140 W Washington St.
White River State Park lies 2.3 km from the Marriott by road.
The evening sitting
St. Elmo Steak House at 127 S Illinois St sits inside the downtown grid. Cafe Patachou at 225 W Washington St covers breakfast.
Thursday evening follows the final session day, so a group dinner takes the night with no schedule to hold it. Friday morning stays clear for the airport run.
