Thursday Arrival Starts Before 7:30 a.m.
The Midwest Multifamily Conference opens its registration desk at 7:30 a.m. Eastern on Thursday 15 October 2026, outside the Hall H trade show entrance at the Indiana Convention Center. A morning networking session runs 8:00 to 8:45 a.m. in role-specific rooms, split between Property and Regional Managers, Onsite Teams, and Corporate and Executive Teams. The opening keynote takes the Sagamore Ballroom at 9:00 a.m.
That clock puts the arrival night on Wednesday 14 October. The conference block sat at the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown, 350 W Maryland St. The association's travel page now states that the block deadline has passed and directs guests to the hotel directly at prevailing rates.
The Skywalk Route From the Downtown Hotels
The Indiana Convention Center publishes 4,700 hotel rooms connected to the building through climate-controlled skywalks, against 7,100 rooms downtown. Its hotels page puts more than half of the downtown supply within blocks of the centre and Lucas Oil Stadium. Visit Indy publishes a connected package of 12 hotels and 5,200 rooms once the Signia Hilton Indianapolis opens.
The skywalks run on an event-dependent clock. The venue's own skywalk page gives a rule of thumb of an 11:00 p.m. lockdown and a 6:00 a.m. reopening. Plan the indoor route for the daytime hours.
A Walkable Dinner Near the Centre
Thursday closes at 5:00 p.m. with the trade show and the last concurrent session block, and the association schedules no evening function that night. That makes Thursday the open dinner. The Wholesale District sits adjacent to the convention centre, and Visit Indy lists food and drink addresses inside it.
St. Elmo Steak House sits at 127 S Illinois St, 389 metres in a straight line from the centre at 100 S Capitol Ave. Social Cantina sits at 148 S Illinois St, at 367 metres. Cafe Patachou sits at 225 W Washington St, at 403 metres. The District Tap sits at 141 S Meridian St, at 548 metres. The distances are straight-line measurements taken from OpenStreetMap coordinates, and each walk runs under one half mile.
Friday's awards reception and dinner runs 6:00 to 9:30 p.m. in the Marriott Ballroom on the second floor of the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown. Plan Friday dinner inside that function.
Friday and the Road Home
Friday registration opens at 8:00 a.m. The morning networking window runs 8:00 to 9:00 a.m., the keynote 9:15 to 10:15 a.m., and four concurrent sessions 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Lunch and Awards takes the Sagamore Ballroom from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. The trade show opens at 12:45 p.m. and closes at 3:30 p.m., with two sessions running 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. inside that window.
The published education day ends at 3:30 p.m. A day-only plan covers lunch, all seminars and trade show access on the Friday and carries no awards dinner admission. Two additions sit after the close. The Maintenance Executive Social Hour runs 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. in Rooms 133-136. The awards reception and dinner runs 6:00 to 9:30 p.m.
A delegate who wants the road before the weekend leaves after the trade show closes at 3:30 p.m. A delegate on a trade-show-only plan leaves after the 2:00 p.m. session. A delegate who stays for the awards dinner leaves at 9:30 p.m. and drives home on the Saturday.
Getting to the Centre
The venue puts the airport 15 minutes from the convention centre. An OSRM road route from Indianapolis International Airport to 100 S Capitol Ave measures 21.457 kilometres. Allow more than the published 15 minutes on a weekday afternoon.

Lucas Oil and Indiana Convention Center Lot 3 sits at 327 S Missouri St. The Indianapolis Marriott Downtown Garage sits at 51 S Missouri St. Capital Commons Garage sits at 10 S Capitol Ave. Plaza Park Garage sits at 109 S Capitol Ave. World Wonders Garage at Circle Centre sits at 100 S Illinois St.
What the Two Days Hold
The association publishes 3,000-plus association attendees, 16 industry topics, 20 breakout sessions and eight-plus hours of networking. The two labelled morning networking windows total 105 minutes, at 45 minutes on the Thursday and 60 on the Friday. The organiser's eight-hour figure counts the trade show floor and the receptions alongside those windows.
The programme holds 20 education sessions across the two days, 13 on Thursday and seven on Friday. The trade show runs six hours in total. Registration closes on 14 October at noon Eastern, and a cancellation after 6 October returns nothing.
The Weekend After
Lucas Oil Stadium lists the Bands of America Super Regionals across 16 and 17 October, and the Indianapolis Colts host the Tennessee Titans at 1:00 p.m. on 18 October. Both events sit on the weekend the conference closes.
