Three Days, Two Buildings, One Room Block
The Midwest Healthcare Engineering Conference & Trade Show runs November 8 to 10, 2026 at the Indiana Convention Center, 100 S Capitol Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46225.
The organiser books education in Hall A and Rooms 123 through 128. The venue publisher forecasts 600 attendees. The organiser counts more than 540 at the 2025 edition.

A reception runs 4:45 PM to 6:30 PM at The Westin Indianapolis. CMTA, Inc. sponsors it, and the reception is open to pre-conference attendees.
The host block sits at The Westin, 241 West Washington Street, at a discounted group rate of $179 per night plus taxes and applicable fees.
Monday: 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Registration runs 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Continental breakfast runs 7:00 AM to 8:45 AM.
Early Risers 1 runs 7:30 AM to 8:15 AM in Rooms 123-124, a steam system management session worth 1 CEU.
The opening session runs 8:45 AM to 10:00 AM in Rooms 126-128. Chris Michael presents Decode Behavior. Duke Energy sponsors the block.
Two concurrent session rooms run at 10:15 AM, 11:30 AM, 1:45 PM and 3:00 PM. Break windows sit at 11:00 AM and 2:30 PM.
The ISHE Luncheon runs 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM in Room 125. The same slot carries a lunch on own option.
Monday closes with the Happy Hour in the Hall and ribbon cutting from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, sponsored by Champlin Studios and Dean Builds, Inc. Free time runs 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
Monday holds 6 of the conference's 11 contact hours. The registration desk covers 9.5 hours.
Tuesday: The Floor Opens at 11:30 AM

The trade show opens at 11:30 AM and closes at 3:00 PM in the Trade Show Hall. Prize drawings run at 12:00 PM, 12:30 PM, 1:30 PM and 2:00 PM, with lunch inside the 12:30 PM slot.
A technician session on water management programs runs in the hall at 2:30 PM and carries 0.5 CEU.
The Grand Prize Drawing sits at 3:00 PM. Free time runs 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
The organiser's schedule page states the exhibit hall opens one day only, Tuesday. The FAQ gives two hall windows: Monday 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM during the happy hour, and Tuesday 11:30 AM to 3:00 PM.
Registration, Cancellation and the Block
Registration is tiered on a September 14 cut-off. An All Access pass costs $340 before the date and $380 after. Monday Only and Tuesday Only passes cost $255 before and $295 after. The Technician Training pass costs $95 in both windows.
Cancellations before October 2, 2026 receive a refund less a $100 administrative fee. No refund follows that date. Cancellations go in writing to mwhcec@raybourn.com. Registrations transfer between individuals at one company. The policy excludes sponsorships.
One property carries the published block. The Westin Indianapolis holds 575 sleeping rooms and 42,500 square feet of meeting space on Visit Indy's connected-hotel list.
Arrival, the Walk and the Free Windows
The Westin sits 308 metres from the convention center entrance on a straight line, a walk of about 4 minutes at 4.8 km/h.

The venue footer also carries the district counts. Downtown Indianapolis holds 7,100 hotel rooms, 4,700 of them connected to the center by skywalk, and 200 restaurants within walking distance.
Monday free time runs four hours. Tuesday free time runs two.
The Indianapolis Cultural Trail runs 10 miles and connects six cultural districts. Pacers Bikeshare, operated by the trail's nonprofit, rents bikes along the route.
