SEMICON West 2026: Monday pre-show, Tuesday 10 a.m. floor

SEMICON West 2026 runs 13-15 October at Moscone Center. Monday 12 October carries SEMI U courses and two afternoon forums; the floor opens Tuesday at 10 a.m. and WestFest runs 8:30-11:30 p.m.

A Three-Day Show With A Monday In Front Of It

SEMICON West 2026 runs Tuesday 13 to Thursday 15 October at Moscone Center in San Francisco, across Moscone North and South. The organiser's agenda page gives the expo hours as 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday, which is 20 hours on the floor across the three days. Monday 12 October is a pre-show day, and the exhibitor planning timeline, revised 21 September 2026, fills that Monday with general exhibitor move-in from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and puts a dark day, with the convention centre closed, on Sunday 11 October.

The venue's own event page dates the show 13 to 15 October and places it in Moscone North and South.

Monday: Classroom Time, Then One Afternoon Forum

SEMI U courses run 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pacific on Monday 12 October in Moscone South Hall, Second Floor. The session catalog lists four in that block: advanced packaging with heterogeneous integration and chiplets, fundamentals of ALD, ALE and precursor chemistries, fundamentals of EUV, and understanding semiconductor technology and business. Selected half-day and full-day courses run again on Thursday 15 October.

The Monday afternoon carries two programs of its own. The SEMI Market Symposium runs 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Pacific. The Taiwan Supply Chain Forum runs 1:20 p.m. to 5 p.m. Pacific in South Hall, Upper Mezzanine, Room 158, as part of SEMI's Taiwan Go Global initiative. The catalog requires a participation request and SEMI approval for the forum, and states that space may be limited.

Both afternoon programs close at 5 p.m., and the forum opens 20 minutes after the symposium. One Monday afternoon holds one of the two, while the 8 a.m. course block runs through both. Monday closes with the SEMI Regional Chapters Reception from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in South Hall, Upper Mezzanine, Room 155, and standards task force meetings run through the day in South Hall Level 3.

The Pass A Monday Entry Needs

The organiser's pass comparison grid, stamped 30 September 2026, gives the Expo Plus Pass three days, the Thought Leadership Pass four days and the All-In Pass four days. A Monday program therefore needs one of the two four-day passes. On the same grid the SEMI Market Symposium is included in both four-day passes and listed at $575 on the Expo Plus column, and SEMI U prices at $695 on the Expo Plus and Thought Leadership columns and $595 on All-In.

Tuesday: The Floor Opens At 10 A.M.

The first two hours of Tuesday are an exhibitor window. The planning timeline gives exhibitors early access from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. on all three days, so first attendee entry on Tuesday is 10 a.m. Tuesday's programme lists CEO Summit Keynotes, Expo Floor Sessions, TechTALKS, a Design Session, Resources for Expanding Operations and Future of Computing, and the floor closes at 5 p.m.

WestFest Closes The Tuesday

SEMICON WestFest opens at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday at Moscone South, Level 300, and runs to 11:30 p.m., three hours. The organiser calls it a Bavarian-inspired celebration with food, drinks, games and networking. The pass grid carries drink tickets with the tier: one on Expo Plus, two on Thought Leadership and three on All-In. The floor closes at 5 p.m., and the celebration opens three and a half hours later.

Wednesday And Thursday

Wednesday carries CEO Summit Keynotes, Expo Floor Sessions, TechTALKS, the APHI Forum, the Test Vision Symposium and the Cybersecurity Forum, on a floor open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday repeats the keynotes, floor sessions, TechTALKS, the APHI Forum and the Test Vision Symposium and runs a second block of SEMI U courses, on the shortest floor day at 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday's 5 p.m. close to Thursday's 10 a.m. open is 17 hours.

Arriving, And Where To Stay

Moscone Center sits at 747 Howard Street. The venue's own directions page routes BART and MUNI riders to Montgomery station for Moscone North and South and to Powell station for Moscone West, with Caltrain into 4th and Townsend. The venue states it has no on-site parking.

Convention Management Resources is the show's official housing provider, and the organiser's travel page carries separate booking routes for exhibitor and attendee blocks. The housing pages direct guests to their confirmed hotel for changes and cancellations from 1 October. Engine puts the city's average at $165 a night across 3.1M par-rate observations from May 2024 to April 2026, with October at $176, 7 percent above the city average.

The Stay, Counted Out

A Monday pre-show plus the full floor runs from Sunday 11 October to Thursday 15 October, four nights. Sunday is the venue's dark day, with the building closed and no move-in, so that arrival is a hotel night ahead of the 8 a.m. Monday course block. A show-floor-only trip runs from Tuesday 13 October to Thursday 15 October, two nights. WestFest finishes at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, and Thursday's floor closes at 4 p.m.
