The published clock for both days
Bands of America publishes its own daily schedule for the Indianapolis Super Regional Championship, dated 18 September 2026. The box office opens at 6:00 a.m. on both days, the stadium gates at 6:30 a.m., and preliminary competition at 7:00 a.m.
Friday’s round closes at 11:00 p.m. Saturday’s round closes at 3:15 p.m., the presentation of awards follows at 3:30 p.m., and the stadium clears for the dinner break. Gates reopen at 6:00 p.m., the national anthem runs at 6:30 p.m., and the first finalist takes the field at 7:00 p.m. The finals round closes at 10:30 p.m. and the finale awards follow at 10:45 p.m.
Lucas Oil Stadium’s own event page carries a second reading of the morning. It prints a 6:45 a.m. ticket office, a 7:00 a.m. North Gate and a 7:00 a.m. prelims start. The organiser’s sheet opens the ticket window 45 minutes earlier and the gate 30 minutes earlier. Both readings carry their publisher, and the plan below holds to the earlier of the two.
Two days of competition
The organiser’s prelims schedules name 60 performing bands on Friday and 32 on Saturday. Ball State University’s Pride of Mid-America performs in exhibition at 3:15 p.m. on Saturday. The venue page describes the field as bands from 10 states.
Friday runs on 15-minute slots from the 7:00 a.m. start, with four panel breaks. The last band takes the field at 10:45 p.m. and the round closes at 11:00 p.m., which makes Friday 15.75 hours of competition.
Saturday’s preliminary round runs from 7:00 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., with a panel change at 9:45 a.m. and a break at 12:15 p.m. Fourteen bands advance to finals, which is the count the organiser’s finals sheet carries.
The ticket products
The organiser sells three products: prelims tickets for 16 October, prelims tickets for 17 October and finals tickets for 17 October. Ticketmaster is the seller linked from the organiser’s page and from the venue page. Neither page prints a price for any of the three products, so no ticket figure stands on the pages read for this piece.
Two published terms shape the purchase. Sales open before the event, and the organiser routes on-site buyers to the box office windows that open at 6:00 a.m. on the event days.
Parking and the two nights
The venue sells parking in the South Lot through Gates 6 and 7 at $25 on a first-come, first-served basis.
Two clocks set the nights. A 6:00 a.m. Friday box office puts the family in town on Thursday 15 October. A 7:00 a.m. Saturday start puts them in town on Friday 16 October. That is two nights, computed from the two clocks.
The event publishes no room block, no rate and no cut-off date. The venue’s Hotels and Lodging menu item opens the Visit Indy reservations list for the building, which carries 64 properties sorted by distance, and every rate waits behind a date entry.
The Saturday programme ends with the finale awards at 10:45 p.m. A family driving home after the awards leaves Indianapolis close to midnight. A Sunday checkout costs a third night against the two the event clocks require.
